Bepke Keersmaekers
Bepke Keersmaekers was born in Leuven, Belgium. In 2008 she moved to The Hague in The Netherlands to study Classical Singing with Maria Acda-Maas and Andrew Schroeder at the Royal Conservatoire.
As a soloist she has sung in various Schütz, Caldara, Buxtehude and Mozart oratorios and in opera productions like Bernstein’s Candide. She has also performed in choral productions such as Mendelssohn’s Elijah, Gluck’s Orfeo ed Euridice, Ravel’s L’enfant et les sortilèges, Saties’ Messe des Pauvres and Mahler’s Das Klagende Lied.
Bepke has taken masterclasses with Carolyn Watkinson, Roberta Alexander, Mauro Augustini, Meinard Kraak and Margreet Honig.
