Fernando Fuego García

Fernando Fuego García (Spain, 1992) is a tenor and a sociologist. With the age of 8 he began his musical journey as a boy treble in the Escolania de Covadonga.

When he was 16, he became a member of the Asturian mixed choir El Leon de Oro. During eight years he worked on varied repertoire and many competitions, and collaborated on eeveral projects with Peter Philips, the choir director of the Tallis Scholars.

During this period Fernando was also a member of the EuropaChorAkademie, where he took part in projects like: Zimmerman’s Requiem, Elgar’s The dream of Gerontius, Mahler’s 8th symphony and Schönberg’s Aron und Moses.

Since 2012, Fernando is a member of the chorus of Ópera de Oviedo.

Fernando is one of the founders of the male chamber choir In Paradisum.
