L’Esquisse in Angers, France, and at numerous dance seminars. In 2006, Maja Delak established Emanat, Institute for development and affirmation of dance and contemporary art.
In 2010 she won the Prešeren Fund Award, the highest recognition for achievements in the field of art in the Republic of Slovenia. In 2013 her performance Shame was awarded as best performance of the Slovenian Dance Platform Gibanica. In the same year Luka Prinčič and Maja Delak received Liberal Acadamy Golden Bird Award for the artistic achievements on the field of performing arts.
Since its start she is teaching Contemporary dance and creative work in Secondary Preschool Education & Gymnasium Ljubljana – Contemporary dance programme. As guest pedagogue she has been teaching at Amsterdam Academy of Theater and Dance, Centre National de Danse Contemporaine d’Angers, Inteatro Polverigi Academy, TCEH in Moscow, Le Pacifique/CDC Grenoble, Kampnagel Hamburg…
In her session with TECC, she aims to develop awareness of body in space (extensions, opposite dynamics, directions in space defined by the limits of body itself).
