Soprano Laura Štoma (Latvia, 1995) graduated from Riga Cathedral Choir School in June 2015, where she studied at the departments of singing and choir conducting. During this time, she was a member of the Riga Cathedral Girls’ Choir for eight years. She has travelled abroad and participated in several competitions and festivals with this choir, as well as the Mixed Choir of Riga Cathedral Choir School. Since three years, she sings in the mixed choir of the Latvian Academy of Culture “Sōla”.
Laura has participated in many concerts and competitions, not only as a member of the choir but also as a solo singer. She has also participated in various other musical projects like acting and singing in a theater spectacle for children in Sigulda Opera Festival.
This fall, she will continue her music studies in the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music, where she will study in the choral conducting department.
