Juliane Beckmann

Juliane Beckmann is currently studying choral conducting as an exchange student at the Kungliga Musikhögskolan i Stockholm, Sweden. In October 2014 she will continue her studies of music education and choral conducting with the main instrument voice at the Hochschule für Musik Detmold in Germany.
She collected a lot of experience in choral singing in vocal ensembles and choirs of different sizes such as addlipps! (Detmold), modus novus chor (Köln), Gustaf Sjökvists Kammarkör (Stockholm) and different kinds of college choirs, both classical and pop/jazz.
To develop her skills in working with different styles of music Juliane Beckmann also participated in masterclasses and workshops with for example Hans-Christoph Rademann (DE), Paul van Nevel (BE), Stefan Parkman (SE), Erik Westberg (SE), Prof. Wolfgang Schäfer (DE), Gunnar Eriksson (SE), Thierry Lalo (F), Voces8 (GB) and The Real Group (SE). Concert tours led her to Italy, Greece, Turkey, Slovakia, Czech Republik, Denmark and the USA.
